What about Wings??

I hear a lot about rims, body kits, intakes, superchargers but what about the wings? What wing do you think matches best a 4th gen max? Can you post pics of max's with different wings cause I am considering putting a new wing later and would like to see different wings on 4th gen max. Post!

Personnaly, I think a touring style wing looks pretty good on a max. Any opinions?

The reason nobody talks about them is because nobody likes them. They belong on Ferrari F40s and F50s, not 4-door family sedans or those "sports-cars" they call Civics.

The stock wing works perfectly for us 4th gen owners. Wouldn't want a bare @$$ but wouldn't want anything but the stock wing.

i thought that as a possibility too, but everytime i look at the stock wing i fall more in love with it, i couldn't live without it. the type 2 wing leaves too much space in between the trunk and the wing, IMO.

To each his own, all know is that I hate huge, pointless wings that serve no function.

double spoiler

If you are unlowered, stick with ugly stock spoilers.

But if you are lowered, and have some kind of body kit, go for the double spoiler. They match very good.

Or get 300ZX TT

I personally don't think the stock spoilers are ugly, especially since I have one...I further agree with RSA Max, I wouldn't want a bare ***, but I think the stock wing looks the best

double spoiler

the one you usually associate "ricers" with...

but with bodykits and lowered look, they blend in perfectly.
and besides, you got a maxima and it can't be (unless you are a true devotee of rice) a rice car.

Lets admit it. Any unlowered max w/o bodykits with aftermarket rims or spoiler looks ricy because the car has 4 door, is tall, and is a sedan.

For sports sedan look, lower the car and don't even slap on the wing.

Thank you! To this day still nobody has answered me to why MAXIMA owners put gtr stickers or badges on their cars! Answer me! There's no gtr, thats like putting vtech on cars with no vtech, c'mon now!!

I AGREE With you rsa_max i don't know either. when i first got my car i wanted to put in the GTR emblem too thank god i didn't do that. and as for the wings i think the best looking wing out there for a 4th gen are the TYPE II and the 300ZX WING if they make it compatible with people who already have the stock spoiler. (IMO)

Exactly, not to hate on people on this board who model their nicks after gtr, and put gtr badges on their cars.. c'mon now save those badges for a real gtr, then put all you want on their. until then, ve or vq power? i guess.

that'd be great if they had a nice VQ emblem for the max, OR if you get a GTR ENGINE in your MAX!!!

stillen type 2 spoiler looks the best. Reminds me of the 99 jspec spoiler for the 300zx by ionicdynamics.com. That 300zx wing looks like the stillen type 2 spoiler. Not too high, yet stylish.

Like xsp00kyx said, nobody makes them anymore. I bought them used off a member here. Shadow was suppose to come out with a similar spoiler like the Type II, but to this day...nothing. I'm glad I didn't wait. I got it for $350 shipped. Well worth it. People said there was a fitment issue, it fitted on mine with no problems.
