BS Pull Tonight
Ok...I was at the Bar with some of my friends tonight. We are leaving the bar and I see a cop down the road behind us at the light, so instead of pulling an illegal U-turn, I go around the block like I should. I'm driving for no more then 2 minutes and I get pulled. He says that my rear corner lights are blue. I said, they are white, so he gets aggravated and looks at the front of my car and says, oh Nissan. (What the F is that supposed to mean?) So he says any blue lights are illegal, they have to be red or amber and I say that my side markers are white, but the turn signals are orange. he says, show me, so I do, and he knows he has nothing and comes back and says you know why i pulled you over, b/c 1st your were doin more then 25 mph, which is interesting, b/c he almost pulled out a parking lot and hit us. I had a PBA card, so he said he was keeping it, but to change the bulbs, b/c they won't pass inspection and it's a major fu$%up. I said thanx. Their was some more exchange, but I won't get into that. Point is, I peaced a cop and they are just haters.

PBA card is a card that is from the Police Benovalent Assoactiaon (sp). Almost everyone in NJ and NY has one, it's so common here. It basically says, I know or someone I know is a friend of a cops. Most times it will get you out of something small, but cops can still just take it away.

first, local cops don't hang around bars to catch people. I never see cops. period. I personally they have a kick back system or something with bar people.
And then, remember:
"Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely"
Basically, cops get used to their power know that a mere citizen like ourselves can't do anything serious
i.e. county lawyers, prosecutors, judges, others all know you and they all work for Uncle Sam (but many times against His innocent citizens from whom POWER supposedly comes)
And then, remember:

Super White bulbs are illegal. Thats why you got pulled over. Make your car's lighting system street legal and you wount get pulled over anymore.
Good thing you weren't drunk. They would have been some pretty expensive bulbs if that was the case!

I donate money every year to the Fraternal Order of Police, and they send something similar to what you are talking about. You put it on your car and basically you can get off with just a warning sometimes, because the money you donated goes to families of police officers killed in the line of duty.
