In Dash DVD Player Suggestions...

Hey I Have a 1997 Maxima Se, i currently have an Alpine Unit, XM Ready CD Player, no mp3.. i want to install a DVD/CD Combo, preferably with a built in screen, any suggestions on what i should get? thanx in advance!

if u got the loot get the kenwood KVT-911DVD. 6.5 inch, its touch screen too, but try to find it on ebay cuz it goes for 2400 in stores.....

just a suggestion. I'm going to flush mount a 7" screen in the dash and wire a playstation 2 into the passenger airbag cradle. Advantages: playstation 2 is a dvd/cd/game system in one.
Disadvantages: if i crash while playing the p-station the passengers done 4.

tony i wanted to do the same thing, how much does it cost to have a screen flush mounted in dash????

I haven't done the flush mount thing yet, but i saw several good 7" screns on e-bay going for under 350, and you can get a pstation for 200 now. i'm gonna do the mounting myself should only take alil cutting.

I wouldn't do it...

Clarion VRX925, I can get you one for only $1300+shipping. Retails for over $2800, I think someone is setting up a GD at $1375 cheapest.

There are some links to review, but I can't guarantee if they are biased...I run this HU in my Max and it rocks. I've seen Kenwood, RF, and Alpine's version of this type of HU, I think I made the best choice in my opinion...
