Stillen exhaust owners - past pr rpesent please read

Well, I finally got the ***** of my car being so loud. I have a Warpspeed Y and the Stillen catback.
My wife and I both hate the noisiness of it.

Does anyone have a recommendation of how to quite this down. I did have a resonator welded in behind the cat.

I am thinking a new muffler will do it.

I do not plan on getting rid of the whole catback but the loudness of it horrible.

The drone is the most annoying f2cking thing on the face of the earth. I do not want to buy a new catback set up with the Holidays here soon.

I have discovered that this exhaust set up is much much louder than another .org member who has the same setup.

I know some people are using the 5th gen variable muffler. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance and post ******, please stay away.........

PLease advise!

I have the Stillen Y & B and used to have a MaxSpeed muffler and it was loud and had that drone that you speak of. Got rid of the muffler and went back to stock and it is much quieter.

I had a Stillen muffler...didn't like it (too loud amoung other things) and I switched to an Apexi WS.

Couldn't be happier!

Check my sig. The only thing I don't have is the B-pipe and I'm pretty quiet. Small drone btwn 2K and 2.5K. I don't spend too much time in those RPM's away. Usually below 2K in the city and around 3K on the highway. Sorry to hear your's isn't satisfactory.

i've had the stillen muffler on for about a year now, but i'm going to sell at the end of the month and reinstall my stock exhaust. i say just go with apexi ws or keep your muffler stock and replace everything before it.
