Ok so lately I have noticed that my car has had some trouble starting. When i left school today it had a little trouble starting but i made it home OK. But then when I went outside to start it again it just turned over and made some awful noise. Battery or what??

 

have you tried jumping it?

if you have does it start right up?

take the battery to a parts store and have them check it

how is it after you start it?

altenator??? yours might be one of the bad ones..

 

maybe your starter went out? mine died recently, too.

 

What exactly do you mean by trouble starting? Was it making grinding noises in the mornings? Can you turn your lights and radio on?

If a jump start doesn't work, it's most likely the Starter that needs replacing.

 

i had the unpleasant experience of having my starter die on me earlier this semester (sept). i had starting problems throughout the summer, but i never went to get it checked out. i would recommend you go in to get it checked just to avoid the headache of being stranded.
