Where to buy Mobil1 oil & filters?

Was hoping that someone might have a lead on where I might purchase Mobil1 oil (prefer gallons) and Mobil1 oil filters online. I haven't found a source that does any better than a local WalMart or Pep Boys.

Thanks.

CAP ( Consumer Auto Parts) is sometimes a good place to check out. There are a bunch of them near me but I dod not know how big of a chain they are or if they are in your area.

Do not think you will find a better price than the $17+ for the 5 quart jug at Wall Mart

The nearest Target to me sold it for under $3 per quart, but recently went up to $4 and some odd cents. Check there or try Farm and Fleet.

if you're going to go synthetic route, you should get the best stuff AMSOIL, which has been proven over and over again to be better then any other oil out there, it's better after 10k then mobil1 out of the box, if you don't believe me check out the oil analysis spreadsheet. I use the stuff on my car and I race it, so if it's good for racing, it's definatly good for the street

contact "iwannabmw" aka Mark (who just got a bmw ) for more info, he'll get you the stuff fairly cheap

Agreed with Vinipux. I used Mobil-1 for quite some time now so my next change I am going with Amsoil. Already ordered and should be here sometimes next week.

see5: The 5 quart jug @ $3.40 per quart would be great. Unfortunately, our local WalMarts never carry the jug, and their per quart price is about $4.50.

ssilva420: The Pep Boys, Auto Zones, and Napas all get closer to $5 per quart.

92vemaxse: Same story...the Target that do carry oil are getting close to $5 per quart.

SuDZ: No luck on the Consumer Auto Parts around here (CT).

Vinipux: If I could get in the $3-$4 range for Mobil1 or Amsoil, I'd be doing great. I'll give iwannabmw a shot.

I was thinking my best bet would be to order online. Thank you, everyone, for the responses. If I can get in my target price range, I'll do the conversion to synthetic at my next oil change (another 500 miles). If I can't get there, I'll probably procrastinate for a while, but then all of the forum posts on the subject will push me over the edge.

Thanks again.
