Question on oil leak after oil change

Looking for some opinions. Recently changed the oil. Went with Mobil 1 5W-30 (previous 90K miles were on Nissan ester oil). Now I seem to have a slow leak/drip from the oil plug. I had made sure the bolt still had the brass(?) washer before putting it back in. Was able to tighten the bolt about 1/4 turn more after seeing the leak, but it's still dripping.

Heard some chatter that Mobil 1 was thinner than other oils. Could this be the reason for the drip? Should I dump the Mobil 1 and go with something else (same chatter indicated Pennzoil was better)?

Thanks!

You should replace the copper crush washer. When it gets completely crushed, it can't seal anymore.

Re Mobil 1 vs any oil... All oils at 5w-30 are the same viscosity when new. That is why you see common standards by the SAE and others certifying bodies. Otherwise you would not know if you were putting in some 3-in-one or 90w oils.
