I am trying to order my new clutch setup finally - and am wondering which one,

I am thinking what i want is the NM1-HDMM package, which translates to
NM1= 84/4 through '99 maxima,
HD=Heavy Duty Pressure Plate,
MM=ACT modified street disc

is this what I want? I know I want a street disc, but they also list a 00 which is a "Stock street disc"... ? and a SS = "ACT performance organic street disc"..

and pressure plates, do i want a HD(heavy duty) or a XT (xtreme pressure plate) or a XX(maXX xtreme pressure plate)...

I got all of my information from this page on ACT's site..

 

You have the part # right NM1-HDMM

ACT only has the Heavy Duty pressure plate for the maxima the don't make the XT (xtreme plate) for the max,

Don't worry about the disc...they only make ONE street disc for the max...you DO NOT want a 4-puck or 6-puck...they will rip your trans to shreads not to mention be a BlTCH to use on the street because of their VERY harsh engagment.
