Possible GD: 4th Gen. Subwoofer Box 95-99

I've been thinking about this for a little while. I have a connection with a local stereo shop and I can have them build a particular box design that will integrate perfectly into the 95-99 Maxima/I30. It uses two 10"/12"/15" subwoofers and fires them through the armrest in a "V-shape" configuration. This is the most efficient setup for our cars. It produces a tremendous amount of bass, since all bass goes into the car, not the trunk and most of all it practically eliminates any rattles. The box specifications can be varied slightly for different model/size subwoofers and it can even be made for a single subwoofer. Below are the pictures of the boxes like this that I made. These boxes that I'm offering would be made by a professional stereo shop here in L.A. They will cost $350 each + shipping. All you need to do is drop in the subs and you're all set. Please let me know what do you guys think. BTW, this shop charges about $650 to build this kind of box for a regular customer (That's how much I originally paid for mine) so you're getting a very good deal.

Anton

They look nice. But I would feel bad for the people that sit in the back.

That single 12"(?) sub and custom baffle looks good. I'm assuming it's sealed. How does that enclosure work? Specifically, I'm wondering how deep it is into the trunk cavity? Any interfering with the trunk hinges? Also, how much effort is necessary to install that beast? Looks like a lot of custom integration, mounting, dynamatting, etc.

I've been toying with building/getting a box like that but don't want to lose much trunk space. If it is available, I'd appreciate a price and shipping to WI.

Ciao,
TOM

Single 12" in a sealed box. Fits right between strut towers and you lose maybe 8" of trunk depth. Check your email.
