I need a dual gauge pod ASAP! I know that the 90-94 Eclipse is supposed to fit. How much do I have to modify it? Will a heat gun take care of it?

Check out [maxi-overdose]'s sig pic. Who needs gauge pods .

You can make do without the gauge pods until Custommaxima.com 5th-gen pods come out (in a few months hopefully).

Here are two close up pictures:

Notice there's a slight gap at the top of the pod? You can heat up the pod and shape it to form if the gap annoys you.

But the biggest drawback is that you have to screw this pod down correct? That means when you go to return it to stock or remove the pods, you will need to replace the Apillar cover? correct?

The autometer gauge pod also comes with double-sided stick tape. So you do have the option.. But I guess screwing it in will def. be more secure...

There is a nasty shadow in those pics. It looks like you could slide an entire finger underneath it. How big would you guesstimate it?

I would say a finger will fit in there. Heat the pod up and form it.

Is it too long? Meaning, is it sticking out because the ends are all the way in? Or is it just the shape that needs to be redone?

Will the price be $49.95 plus $39.95 shipping like the rest of the stuff on custommaxima?

I've haven't been on the forums for a while due to lack of internet....
But what happened to that custom molded 5th gen A-piller gauge pod group buy or whatever? There was supposed to be some progress in October, but the thread died I think.... =/
