255 hp? Please post dyno results...

This is to get a feel for how many people have actually dyno-ed thier cars and what the results are. If a statisically significant percentage are actually at or close to advertised figures, then the whole 'lawsuit bandwagon' may not stand a chance. Not that many of us feel it does anyway.

how can you do this?

The 255 is at the crank (engine) and a dyno tests at the wheels. There is going to be some loss in the drivetrain and transmission. Do you have some set number for this loss? Otherwise it is impossible to say whether we're getting the right numbers or not. My stock dyno was 208HP. If 255 is correct than this says I'm losing approximately 18% of my power do to the drivetrain and transmission. This is somewhat high but not necessarily for a new 6 speed.

Well, quite frankly no...but that is a BIG part of my point. If we don't have actual figures, how the hell can we ***** about the fact that the numbers AREN'T there?

Paint issues - unavoidable to see.
Brakes - pretty self evident on a test ride.
'Lost' HP - there have been several threads on 'arasitic loss and what the 'true' HP and TQ figures should be, but nothing I have seen on this supposed 'lost 15 hp' as factual proof.

For the community as a whole, if Nissan is going to get a letter from any atty, let's at least make sure it is a case that can be proven.
