I will critique it, and answer it. Why are you asking about auto's.. all the guages are the same. k's and 2K1's have lots of guage options.... so dont be a little girl and do a search !

I agree with vs, stop being a **** kloogy. (If you consider this picking a fight, wateverz dawg) Yes you were merely stating do a search and like the man said the Gauges are Diff for the Autos and Manuals. I myself have a 2k1 Auto and I'm looking for the same glow gauges. So if you can't help kloogy, please shut up. I'm not trying to start a fight, but if you say some cr@p to me or vs like (i see other members say this), " shut up newbie" then u can *** off. And if you are going to respond asking me if i have something up my @ss I don't. I've been on this board over a year now and a lot of diks tell people to search when those people have obviously done their research and the Idiot RESPONDING.. doesnt know his ****..

Hey man,

As of right now, they do not make them for automatics, and it is most likely they never will. I have never seen reverse or normal indiglo gauges that have the strip for automatics. If you do find them, please let us all know

Lemme get this straight:

You want the shift indicator, that shows what gear you're in, to be indiglo?

The indiglo gauges I got had a separate overlay for each gauge, and nothing at all for the middle. Personally, I think that wouldn't look so hot, but to each his own. In the meantime, you can still use the ones you you just got, right?

no thats not even it!!! they dont make gauges for the automatics because the manuals have a diffrent setup...you see the automatics have pins where the needle rests... now the pin hole and the hole dont line up...hence making the automatics and the maual gauges diffrent....

manual- holes line up
automatics-holes dont line up!!

***now the question still stands!!! do the 2k's and the 2k'1 have glow gauges!!!******

if there is anyone out there that has new info or has gauges for 2k and 2k1...then please help us!!!!

Ok, before I help to answer the question, please notice that Kloogy had every right to correct your behavior in your post...

1. Learn how to ask a question, a better question would have been, 'does anyone know where to get 2k or 2k1 INDIGLO (not glow) or reverse indiglo gauges for automatics?' You don't need ??? and !!! when trying to get help, you aren't drowning.

2. Do some research before you post and have all 1,000,000 members of the org look at it...Gauges refer to the round circles like fuel, speedometer, tachometer, and so on...The shift indicator isn't included in calling it a gauge, that would be part of the Gauge cluster. You bought the 2k2, 2k3 indiglos because 2k and 2k1s don't have a 3rd, only 1 and 2. What exactly did you buy? Did you buy the whole cluster off of a wrecked 2k2 or 2k3 or did you just buy the little white circles?

You can check on ebay for the indiglo gauge (white circles) but i have no idea what your looking for considering your question was incredibly vague and confusing. How about posting a picture of someone's car that has these mods already.

maybe you have this mistaken...try to read the question more carefully and more properly(no disrespect intended). i did applogize for the caps as you can see and he did not have to call me a girl about it...anyway that was done and over with. no need to bring up yesterdays news! to go back to your statement.... i am not looking for the middle piece...i am looking for indiglo gauges for automatics...yes those "circles". i bought like i have stated 3 times... MANUAL gauges...not AUTOMATIC...this is the problem...the holes dont line up...i recived a reply from Scrimbo with his brand new automatic gauges (white circles hehe) Scrimbo also brought up the topic that no one is intrested in(no disrespect intended)middle indiglo piece...the topic is where can 2k and 2k1's get automatic indiglo gauges from that line up! Thanks to Y2KSESTEVE and Scrimbo that shed some light on this situation instead of add unwanted comments that start unwanted fights! now i dont think anyone is to intrested in getting that middle piece(all though it would be pretty cool )but we are intrested on where to get them from...Scrimbo said that he had gotten the from Initial K Auto Concepts Inc... thank you for posting that! and i dont know where you came up with cluster and buying a wrecked cluster from? not even remotely close to discussion! any way topic is Gauges...read first...then post.

(((also when you or i type there is no way to tell that there is sarcasim involved...there never was!!! and there prolly never will be when i write...dont take everything to heart))) i really appericate all the help that everyone has given good or not so good! y would i disrespect someone thats tryin to help me???

also i want to applogize again for the caps!
my bad...and the reason i used !!! and ??? is to express thanks and wondering...not drowning! (oh by the way PHATMAN5050--- "west side dogg) HA HA

I understand what you're talking about now, and yes, the holes didn't line up for me either. I had to cut a hole for the needle pin on the gas gauge, and enlarge the hole for the needle pin on the speedometer to make the hole for the odometer match up. I you cut them, use a small drill bit, and go in small steps, until you get it just right. Use a small rattail file to clean off the flash from the cutting. Good luck!

kloogy if you have nothing to add to this thread to help vs in anyway.. please stop yourself from responding because you're just really damn annoying. I would consider you one of the ******* members ont his board who like to tell everyone else to use the search, when someone already has. And no im not 15. I'm actually turning 19 soon... Whoppee for me huh?.. I'm at the age when if someone is bugging me or being an @sshole like yourself id say.. " shut your damn mouth kloogy"

have a nice day..

Indiglo Gauges

I just went to see if the person I purchased mine from on Ebay had any auctions for them going on but no joy. The good news is, they <are> out there. I understand vsmax exactly what you mean about a possible difference for the auto/manual tranny. But to tell you the truth, I don't think with these gauges, it is an issue. At least, I do not recall them asking me which tranny I had. When I got the kit, it did not have the center (shifter) component. I am not sure if they actually make a kit with that piece. I don't think I would use it. In fact, I only used the gauges for the speedo, tach, temp, and fuel. I thought the other ones included would make my dash look to "busy". I will put the guys Ebay ID below in case you want to check periodically. That is, if you don't find them elsewhere. Cheers!

thanks for the info man

I have an automatic. To be honest, I am not sure that all the holes lined up properly. I had our local "rice" shop install them for me. Since I would rather them screw up something really expensive like the original gauges/needles than myself. I did note that there was some plastic that came down into the bottom two warning light areas. Which told me that someone did not measure these things very well. But, I just had the guys trim that off. It was not part of the "indiglo" itself. Just the plastic on the outer edges of the speedo/tac. As far as the holes, they never mentioned one way or the other. But, they looked original so I would think the lined up alright. One odd thing with regard to the holes, the fuel gauge did not have a hole to put the little needle stopper through. So, I had the guy just leave the screw undone a little more than normal so it would stop the needle from pointing straight down when the car was off.

You may try and email the Ebay guy that I mentioned earlier. He can probably give you some more in depth info. Even if he does not have any available right now. By the way, they were "Initial K Auto Concepts". I think this is the brand you purchased right? So there is hope. Maybe the people who were installing it were just not creative enough to work around the slight problem.

Just out of curiosity, did the question (do the 2k's and the 2k'1 have glow gauges) get answered? I can’t seem to get the thread to come up. I would also like to find some for my 2k1
