WOW that's clean. Love the seats, my brown ones look like crap. I think it would look cleaner without the chrome around it, but that's just me.

Thanks slider for the feedback!! So what would you do in place of the chrome? The only chrome is factory stuff. Around the windows and some molding strips around wheel well and on the bumper. Let me know what you'd do.
Thanks Jose

Whoa! Nice project dog! Fo' Sho!
Take a peep at my ride! Because it is tight as yours.
I'm tripped out because your ride is like a lost twin to my ride!
You and everyone else is welcome to peep it out! Here is the link.

Peace.

Personally I would do it like jayfresh's, paint over the chrome on the bumper on the front and the back with matching paint, and take off the chrome strips on the wheel wells.

Thanks again all for the feedback and I agree. When I finally get my body kit, I will remove the chrome. Question Does anyone have any dealings with shaved door systems? Where you open the doors using a solenoid!

I've always been leery of such a project. I know they look nice, but if you battery ever dies, or a solenoid / relay goes out, you can't get into the car...without breaking a window, of course.

I have been giving some serious thought to doing that on my '67 Spitfire (REAL roadsters don't have doorhandles). I can talk to my body shop this weekend, if anyone is there on Saturday, and get back to you with what I find out.

Re: Door kicker...

If you do shave the door handles, you need to safeguard yourself against a dead battery or broken solinoid. To do this, attach a cable to your door handle opener (inside the door of course). It should pull the same cable the actuator pulls to open the driver's door. This cable can be a bicycle brake cable or trunk release cable from another car.
Run the other end through the firewall into the engine compartment. have the handle hidden in a good spot near the front grill or wheelwell where you can reach by laying on the ground. You'll probably rarely use it, or maybe only at home when you are doing work on the car and you disconnect the battery without leaving the door open. The handle should pop the driver's door open. :-) Then replace the solinoid or pop the hood and charge your battery.

If both systems fail (which is very unlikely) then yes, you may end up having to break a window...

Also, you might be able to run the cable for one of the rear doors into the trunk. Use your key to open the trunk and then pop open a rear door. that'll get you inside. Just some ideas...

You can just open up the trunk, crawl into it, and push down the back seat, that'll get you into the car.

I had to do that once when the door locks were frozen last winter.

There are 3 body kits. Erebuni & Kaminari makes 'em.
Check out their websites for more info.

www.erebunicorp.com

www.kaminari.com

You can also purchase them cheaper at Nopi. Along with other products for the Maxima.

www.nopionline.com

There's the hook up.

Peace.

Lucky you. My 1st gen doesn't have a fold-down seat or any opening from the trunk to the passenger area.
