245/45/18 Miglia Evo 5"s?

I've seen several members run this size tire on an 18x8 wheel. I have a 2k2 w/eibachs and I really do not want to go with a smaller sidewall than 45. Will this setup be a problem?

If 245/45 are too large, how about 235/45?

I have the rims you are talking about in 17" and I am running on 235/45/17 and already one of my rim is slightly bent. I bent it on the belt pkwy in the center lane close to the new mall. Therefore I would suggest you put a little more distance between your rim and the road. You are not in Florida's sweet road my friend.

Stick with either a 235/40 or 245/40, which I have

So will 245 /45 or 40 fit on 18x8 rims then?

That is what I want to get next summer.

Remember that all these people live else where but NYC. Remeber that the roads elsewhere are a lot smoother.

haha funny you mentioned florida had a family vacation at disney with my kids and the drive in florida was awsome. Roads are wonderful me and my wife were like this is car heaven. Coming from houston highways to florida highways makes me want to move over to Orlando.Celebration is a nice community out in Orlando, it was like going to pleasantville.

no rub at all...damn i sometimes wish i want 19's instead....also ride quality is phenomenal, i can now go 100mph+ w/o no steering wheel vibration...only thing is your car will steer into the 'waves' in the road (if your roads are like chicago ) sometimes

I totally agree ihercules. I have the same rims with the same size tire and i almost wish i went with a 50 sidewall rating....oh well i still love the Evos even though they are getting played out!
