True HI/LO beam HID h4, 9004 *********

This is a group deal for a True HID hi/lo beam kit that fits h4, and 9004. I can safely say that NO one else is selling this type of kit.

There are other kits that mechanically move the bulb or a shield to vector light in diff. directions. These "mechanical" kits came out earlier this year however are starting to get documented within the industry as having reliability issues. Retailers that sold these kits are starting to get returns. The warranties on these kits usually run upto 6 months max. Not to mention that these kits are not true hi/low beam.

The kit I’m selling handles the hi/lo beam electronically. The ballast controls and changes the wattage of the bulb from 35w to 50w. The manufacturer of this ballast is based in Germany and supplies Phillips with all their ballasts. This is quality. In fact, the manufacturer of this kit is so certain of their quality that they offer a 3 year warranty on the entire kit including bulbs. That is unheard of.

So keywords here are No Moving parts! 3 year full warranty! German components! Custom harnesses means no wiring(dummy proof)! Meanwhile the ballast can be placed up to ten feet from the bulbs.

Colors ranges are 4200k - 8000k. Sizes go from h4, 9003,9004,9007

Retail price of this kit is $962.11 Pretty expensive I know. The distributor that im going through usually deals with hot rod enthusiasts that have the money to spend and represent a higher price point because they expect quality. I managed to get them to deal with us the regular consumer. Thus here are our group deal prices.

1-5 824.99
6-10 769.34
11-20 719.99
21+ 679.00

I don't think they can do anything much lower than that cause then it would start eating into their labor and manufacturing costs.

I believe my contact is willing to give us the $679 price for 17+ people.

So lets do this. I'll have pictures of comparisons to other kits available soon. I've also provided a picture of the kit itself non installed. Click Here to View

email me or reply to this thread to get on the list. I want these lights. No more tickets from State Troopers!

Yeah man I would love to see pics of this kit installed. The different color temps and all that good stuff. Also how long will this last cuz I might want to change my HID kit (police issues) but I want to wait for the projectors to come out from custommaxima.com. Also not sure what bulbs the projectors will use yet.

as of now the deadline is up until we reach 17-20 people. That might take awhile however i'm going to go cross forums and see if I can generate interest with other groups. We might be able to reach our goal faster.

My personal goal is to get enough people by the end of this month and maybe mid dec. So roughly three weeks.

Its funny that you should mention projector lamps cause i'm trying to get this same company to start producing audi s4 style lamps for maximas. However I wanted to get this HID light deal done first.

I'll keep you guys posted with those pics.

I'm interested!

We would have to reaim the headlights though, won't we?

If not, won't the projectors take care of this problem?

Thanks for being patient funnylittlman. My contact will be getting a test kit on monday and will have pictures hopefully before turkey day. I'm going to make a website with more information about the kit.

There are so many new hi/lo kits out there being introduced. Hopefully once the site goes up it will help clear the confusion and answer any questions that may be floating around.

On another note, although I do like bixenon Hid kits that come on OEM cars, I'm not sold on the solenoid based kits that are being introduced as bixenon oem replacement kits. It is known within the industry that when it comes to HID technology there are several factors to premature bulb burnouts. One of those factors include the amount of gforce applied to bulbs. It really doesn't take much. Thus the physical movement of the bulb going back and forth might not be such a great idea. I have more to say about this however i'm going to wait and put it on my website.

I also wanna point out that there is a group deal for Catz hi/lo kit floating around on the org. However my contact has informed me that Catz has contacted him and is seeking to purchase his kit. Again I want to reiterate that no-one else has this kit cause up until now no one could find a ballast that could safely convert voltage to the bulb without blowing out the bulb. The German manufactorer of this NEW ballast has an exclusive deal with my distributor so basically no one else has access to this ballast. This will expire in a year but until then you won't see anyone else offering this technology unless they buy it through iguana much like Catz is doing.

I dunno about anyone else but this kit makes more sense to me. I'd really like to get enough people for this group deal to get going so I can replace my halogens. Yes halogens, cause my vision panasonics HIDs crapped out on me. Thanks hogan.

My vision/panasonic h4 kit pooped out on me too. I got fed up and trashed the entire kit. I feel your pain.

Seems that you have a nice kit there...

Please keep us posted with the website. I am interested in buying this.

Another thing, could I buy two sets of bulbs? Say, one set of 4200k and another set of 7000k, so I could switch those things at my discretion?

It's just better to use the 4200k bulb with foggy weather rather than 7000k due to the power of penetration of the lower temp. bulbs.

I'll keep you posted. I still have to contact other forums to see if they have anyone that might wanna jump on this deal. The goal is 17+ otherwise no deal.

I'm also positive that you can purchase an extra set of bulbs. I might do this as well. It's almost like accessorizing. =)

stupid question, but can I just purchase the HID hi/lo beam 9004 bulb without the whole kit? I kinda ran into a little dilema
