How bout some Proofread/Spell Checking

Not trying to be a ***** here, but everybody needs to remember to proofread/run spell check after writing a thread (if you aren't already doing so).

I've seen a ton of threads in here, where sentences are splattered together or missing important words, and thus cannot be understood, at least by me. This is especially important for DIY write-ups and such. BTW I'm not an english teacher, just a reasonably educated dude. See ya.

amen to that--I have had to read some posts 3 and 4 times to attempt to decipher the message. My favorite is when people use "breaks" instead of "brakes."

Thank God I am not the only one. It is worse than fingernails on a blackboard to see our language butchered on a daily basis.

WARRANTY not Warrenty
CONGRATS not congrads
For SALE not For sell

and contrary to popular belief this is not proper punctuation this is a run on sentence that is equivalent to what a third grader would write dammit.

Since it's slang, it can go either way. I prefer the Blink 182 version.

I'm a busy guy. If I were take a few mins out of my day to help you with some obscure problem on your car and all you can see is my spelling mistake, your loss.

You'll notice a trend. The worst of the spelling/grammar usually isn't a very thought provoking thread to begin with. That's more of a respect issue.

However, keep in mind, English isn't everyone first language. That doesn't make me any less interested in helping them, or consider them less intelligent.

I'm not referring to a simple type-o here or there. I am talking about some of the incoherent babbling I have seen. The above examples are just a few that I see all the time.
