Yup, 4th gen FSTB's fit all 3rd gen Maxima EXCEPT the 92-94 SE models with the VE30DE engine.

 

which strut bar will fit the VE?

1999-2003 Courtesy FSTB on my VE

 

So if all 4th gen FSTB fit on 3rd gen vg's then why do they say on courtesy nnissan that their 4th gen will not fit 89-94 max's?

 

Cause they don't want anybody putting them on their 92-94 SE's and then sending them back when they don't fit.

Plus IIRC the 92-94 GXE's have an AC hose slightly in the way as well. Some people will complain if they have to bend it.

 

4th gen bars wont fit on 89-92 vg SE's either. Ive already tried.

Really? How long ago did you e-mail? I bought one from him a couple months back and it was a quick and smooth trans-x. Maybe he's been busy.
