Seat Heaters Group Buy

Seat Heater Group Buy

This group buy is for seat heaters for your car. I'm doing this through seatcomfort.com so please either post questions here or PM me with any questions and I'll forward them to the company.

Carbon fiber is the industry standard offering the best in heat distribution and overall temperature consistency. Carbon based heaters allow for easy installation and customization and because we use a carbon element, it can be shaped to fit any seating application.

The Standard Control seat heater uses temperature sensors built into the heater pad. This is the control method. When the temperature reaches the upper set point, the sensor turns off the heater until the sensor reads the lower set point. This will fluctuate the seat heater temperature by +/- 5 degrees. This heater is economical and offers standard performance.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a link to an image of the heaters and a diagram of the system.

Here are the install instructions in PDF format. Right click on save them to your computer if you'd like to keep a copy of them.

Here is the switch which comes with the unit.

These are carbon fiber seat heaters, not the cheap wire based ones. Mercedes uses carbon heaters in their car much like these. Here's a comparision of the wire and carbon units:

Traditional Wire Based (NOT THIS GROUP BUY)

Carbon Based Heater (what this group buy is for)

What comes in the box (1 unit):

2 heater elements (back and bottom)

Round operating switch w/ high, low, off

8' long wire harness with fuse

Installation Manual

Here is what the pricing scheme is, we need a minimum of 10 heater units to see the discount. For reference, the base price is $93.39, which is much less than other places who are charging $130 on up.

If we have 10 heater units the price is $84.05

If we have 25 or more units the price is $74.71

Shipping charges are actual UPS charges, no handling fee.

You'll need 2 units to do the back and bottom of both front seats, however you can order just one unit if that's what floats your boat. Translation: if we have 13 people interested in doing both seats we'll be able to get the lowest price!

Well to answer your question.

I am sure any detail shop or body shop will do the install.
Although with this kit you do get full step by step instructions with detailed pictures. I am most certain that you could do this.
but to be sure on a price of install i will contact the company.
If you would like to do your own research here is a website

I don't mean to crash your board or anything, but the originator of this thread stole the group buy by simply copying and pasting the entire group buy. It's plagiarism and it's wrong. I wrote the content of the group buy and if he couldn't come up with something original he shouldn't have posted it.
