I don't know Kicker that well, cause I never liked them. But depeding on the coil configuration, the 300.1 would be a good choice. It does 150x1 @ 4 ohms, and 300x1 @ 2 and 1 ohm.

I rarely have them playing at full though, My gains were set with everything flat, and I usually have the slider for my low frequencies held pretty far down. It's just good to know that I can bump it when I want, and not have to worry about distortion or clipping. Besides, your single ten won't be giving out record SPL numbers, if the sub can handle a good 250W, and you can wire it to 2 ohms, I'd say take the 300.1. Actually after a quick look at the CompVR spec sheet, a 300.1 is perfect. Well, you could even slap on a little bigger. Since it's either DVC2 or DVC4. Although, if you have the DVC2, and may think about later adding another sub, I would suggest wriring the sub to 4 ohms, and using the 600.1 !! Otherwise wire it to 1 ohm, and use the 300.1 !
Same applies if you have the DVC4, wire it to 2 ohms, and use the 300.1 !
JBLs are nice amps, I personally used to own a 300.1, recently sold it. If your not to familiar with other amps, the crossover is kinda tricky. Very badly marked, and it's a guessing game! Apart from that, it has a straight forward gain ****, as well, as a 0-18db bass boost (be careful with it....)
Anyways, good luck!
