check out the Greddy sound clip, thanks Dnas420

I was able to make a video of the sound clip for the warpspeed y-pipe carsound cat and greddy exhaust. The video is pretty good but it sounds much better in person.

check the 4th post under.

lol...I dunno why it looks black, it was coming out white I guess the way the camcorder recorded it. I also had HID's in the back to provide some lighting.

N34JZ: yup the greddy is well worth it. The noise is completely different when driving. It sounds good either way. A meet for the 30th check your mail.

Kevincleff: you'll be a happy man in the summer.

I'll be making a sound clip while driving the car soon, possibly next friday and Dnas420 you'll probably have to host again and thanks.

hey, sounds Real nice man, i never thought i'd like that sound figured it would be too muhc for me, but i dig it. Generally how much does that setup cost, completed like that?....the only thing i would wanna do different is a different muffler, i like the twin pipe look on a muffler for our cars.

I agree the dual tip does look good on our cars. The problem is that Greddy only makes it in that style but in my personal opinion I think it looks very good. The price was as follows, Warpspeed Y-pipe Stainless Steel Mandrel Bent and Mig Welded $299.00, Carsound Cat $100.00 and Greddy Cat-back $550.00 coming to a total of $950.00.

it's not like I have that type of cash lying around...I worked hard and my next mod seems far in the future until I recupurate from this investment. At least installation was practically free for me.

I will have to make a video of my exhaust so you all can compare. I spent $240 installed (this includes install of RT cat). It sounds pretty similar but I think mine is a little deeper. I have Cattman Y D-sta has Warpspeed and I have an RT cat and he's got Carsound. I don't know if the VG makes a difference from the VE also. Who wants to host it for comparison?

P.S. I am NOT trying to dog the GReddy or anyone who has bought one. I just know you are all in the same financial boat as me (poor) or you'd most likely drive something newer! Actually I'd probably keep the Max and have a second car!

I wish it could be cheaper but that's the price, the Greddy is the killer and the cheapest I saw it for is $499.99 from Southwestautoworks but you also have to pay $50 shipping and I got it from Stillen for an additional $10 because they had in stock and SWA didn't. In the end it's worth it. The price of the Warpspeed y-pipe and carsound is totally a reasonable price and warpspeed has a good customer service.

Black smoke......hehehehe......its a shadow you fools....LOL.

BTW: I did hear coolmax's 91 with Y pipe and greddy and I couldn't even tell he had a modded exhaust. Only when he reved it from outside. The problem I have is the price, and I HATE the tip. Why not make a greddy with dual small tips like stock se mufflers? Whats with all the potato cannons?

I will be making this video soon, but actually when driving the car on the highway you can barely hear it at a cruising speed of 70 or 80. I will soon post this video at WOT
