I connected a FM Modulator to my Stock Radio & hearing a HUMMING sound when driving..

is there any way to fix this? is this normal? if i bought an aftermarket stereo w/ direct input for audio would it elimnate this sound? is the FM Modulator I got messed up? somebody help & answer at least one of these's questions

You got it! FM Modulator are known to have bad quality, your best bet would be an after market HU with an AUX input!

I read somewhere that if you install an inline filter in between the stereo and antenna, that it should eliminate the humm...anyone try this?

Interference Filter - Inline filter helps eliminate interference on TV and FM signals caused by CB radios, electric motors and more. Inline Hi-Pass Filter Passes signals from 54-900 Mhz, which includes UHF/VHF & FM signals while rejecting others.
