spark plug wire resistance

i just installed a new set of spark plugs and wire. my car starts to make more vibration after installation. i suspect that it could be the spark plugs or wires. Does anyone know the resistance of a good set of spark plug wire?

I believe they're around 5k or so, but it depends on the brand, type, size, length, etc..

try unplugging them one at a time and see if the idle gets worse. when you unplug one and the idle doesn't change, then that's the bad one.

did you get any crossed?

I just went down that road. Had miss and found bad dist cap. Replaced and while at it replaced wires (went cheap route $29.00). Never again, wires cost me 2 hours of grief. Checked fuel injection, vacumn lines, and more. Couldn't be wires (NEW), but guess what? Put old wires back on and problem went away. Lesson learned, never use less than premimum wires. Beck Arnley has a very good set available, expect to pay +$100.00 for a good set
Hoped this helped
