Otto Racing Strut Bar!!!!!

Just saw a new strut bar available for us... Here is the link http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...XXXX-OTFR-STBX
This looks like a Stillen replica...What do you think? If it is, then there should not be any fitment problems... Looks alot better than the Bomz racing strut bar...

You might want to fix your link. Everyone will be posting a new thread!

Not bad!!

Kinda worried about the bare metal showing on the bracket. Do they come powder coated??

Aluminum alloy (the bar itself) doesn't like touching with bare metal... rust... looks like there is rust on the bracket already... maybe my eye is wrong though

How perfect fit is it? It has to be within like 0.5mm if the bar is not adjustable. Or it would be just a piece of metal in the engine bay!

I still prefer my Bomz FSTB for $35... just wish they make a RSB too...

I recently added an Otto Racing FSTB to my car. It is adjustable and it fit well. It seems to me that the way it is adjustable might be questionable (like it might be able to slip), but I cranked it down really tight and havent had any problems. I'd recommend it for the money.

Oh, otto racing, a products from www.procarparts.com , I really don't like them, they are kind of suck a** .

I did purchase some parts from them, the clear side marker crack when it came.

the first I call them, they gave me some stupid reason.
the second I call them, they hany up on me.
the third I call them, they don't even pick up the phone.

All I want is exchange for the lights.

***PLEASE STAY AWAY*** from procarparts.com , this company will
fu** u up.

Otto Racing Strut Bar!!!!!

What's up all? Just wanted to let you know that I bought this bar off of Ebay for only 44.99+s/h. There are two up for auction now from Procarparts.com,they have been their for some time now. I installed the bar this weekend and it was a snap, took me about 30 minutes! From what I can see it's an exact replica of Stillen's bar.The hardware seems to be zinc chromate finished just like the Addco RSB.It adjusts like Stillen's,with horizontal slots at the end of the bar. Great quality for the price and No fittment issues either!!! Clears the intake manifold with plenty to spare.I highly recommend it,looks great.Driving impressions: I could definitly feel a difference, not as huge as the RSB, but none the less noticable. It seems as though the front end is tighter, and the car as well, tracks tighter through curves. The "floaty feeling" is all but gone with the FSTB and RSB installed, not only at a fast pace but in everyday driving as well. Believe it or not, my wife also noticed the improvement, and now loves the handling,as do I. This is how it should have come from the factory.Best bang for the buck!!! By the way,if you haven't noticed, the install was on an '02 I35 Sport. Enjoy the ride! Lata.
PS: Had no problems in doing business with Procarparts.com.

Close Up Photo's of FSTB

Sorry HWC, I don't have a digital camera otherwise I'd post some pics for you. The only picture available seems to be on the above Procarparts link, it's the only one I've seen. Like I said, the strut rings and all the hardware supplied appear to be finished in zinc chromate(I believe I've got that name correct). The Addco RSB is delivered with the same finish. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
