SouthWestAutoWorks FSTB

Does anyone have the southwestautowork.com FSTB? IF so would you recommend it? I talk to a rep and he said that they supply washers to fit below the FSTB mount, and this will actually raise the bar to clear the Intake Manifold. Does this work?

Please provide as much info as possible. thanks!!!

Do you like the way it looks, feels? I am also thinking of getting the Cattman or Bomz.

Thanks much for your input, I think I like the OTTO racing better, the SouthWest one looks like every other one out there. Thanks again.

handling wise they all do the same thing - i'd rather have no names on my car rather than being a billboard for a ghetto company - u'd save a good 30 bucks as well.

Check my thread on cheap FSTB A++....I love the thing. I can take pics if you want. No problems with clearence or washer nozzles. Only used one washer per bolt.

Wow, the OTTO one looks like it was "stolen" from "stealin". Get it?

Installed the Autoworks bar just now. A couple of little things had to be done to get a proper fit. I did not want to clamp down the strut bolts over the ridges on the strut tower because it just bends the bar ends so I spaced the ends to fit properly. Looks nice and the steering really does feel better!

Did you have to use extra spacers to clear the intake manifold with your FSTB?

I personally have about two inches from the intake to the bar. I think problems only arise on 2k2+.
