Lowering springs and camber kit

I just put Maxspeeds on, and my friend told me that I should get a camber kit so the tires won't wear out unevenly. Anyone else have this kit?

Camber kit isn't needed on mild drops. Just get the car aligned.

It would not hurt to get camber bolts (Eibach) for an adjustment +/- 1 degree, cost $50.00 from tirerack or sw autoworks. You do not need camber plates (Stillen $300.00) if the drop is 2" or less.

Why buy the bolts if you don't need them? His camber will be fine with Maxspeed springs. $50 bucks is way to much for 2 bolts too.

You can get camber bolts from your local speed shop for about 20 bucks.

You can even use a high strength bolt from you local hardware store, smaller in diameter then your OEM bolt to give you more adjustment in the lower mount.

Total cost.... about 2 bucks.

Agreed. With Maxspeeds you won't need anything. I never needed my plates adjusted with a 2"+ drop on Ground Controls. Waste of $$.
