Which is the better 1999 5sd, se ltd or gxe

I went to a Nissan dealer the other day looking to replace my 1995 nissan maxima (gle), with a 1999 nissan maxima se limited (5sd). I saw a 99 se ltd (5sd), but there was also a 1999 gxe (5sd). It looked very nice despite the fact that it only had a spoiler and a moonroof. On the other hand the se limited was fully loaded (leather, auto-climate control, etc.)
My question is:
Which one is the better 5 sd, or are they both the same PERFORMANCE wise?

the gxe will be lighter, other than that, expect pretty much the same performance.

Hmmm, performance wise, they are pretty much the same. The GXE may be a bit lighter, but the SE is the SE. Right off the bat, the SE has white face gages, body color door handles, foglights standard, a stiffer suspension, so there's not as great a need to upgrade the suspenion once you've bought it. Just the minor suspension tweaks lie FSTB and RSB. Also, the black SE steering wheel that the GXE does not have. And since the SE is the limited, a little more unique, too. Other things to consider are that the GXE probably comes with lower speed rated tire, and probably has a top speed governor, too. The GXE won't go past 117 mph, even though it is very capable of doing so. Is the SE Lmited RED?? If so, then GET IT! That's the rarest 4th gen Maxima out there. What's the difference in price as well?

I would lean twards the SE for the uniqueness factor. If it's all about power and nothing else, then get the GXE.

i would 110% get the SE unless you plan to change EVERYTHING on the car. SE LIMITED value will be a lot more than a GXE plus you should be fully loaded if u have leather...can't go wrong...if price difference was 2,000, then i would get GXE and change everything

i'd go for the SE-L - if you were only doing minor modifications (no suspension work or paint)

If the amount you save is > than the cost of a suspension and wheels by getting the GXE, get it. Unless of course you cannot do without leather, our seats sorta suck though and I couldn't imagine how slippery leather would be under heavy cornering. With one condition - if one of them has the beige interior and the other one has black, get the black its 345923749234 times sexier
