Differences between Y-Pipes

Yeah, that price is for the Stillen pipe. I have been researching purchasing a Y-pipe for quite some time and for $10-15 less than Stillen's price (if 25 are ordered), you'll get all the features that make the Cattman Y-pipe a better deal:

- All T-304 stainless steel VS cheap mild steel, which means: no corrosion, high thermal containment = lower engine compartment temps and higher exhaust velocity and more power, much greater resistance to stress fatigue/fractures.
- The superior strength of TIG welding VS the weakness, stress fractures and corrosion vulnerability of MIG welding
- Low turbulence, power-making, hand crafted, racing-grade, 2-1 merge collector VS high turbulence, cheap swaged metal (a tube that has been stretched wider at one end) collector
- Silent, interlock-lined, full diameter, heavy duty flex section VS hissing, unlined, reduced diameter (smaller diameter than the tubing) flex section
- Thick flanges VS thin flanges

These differences more than justify the difference in retail prices (only $46 more for the Cattman pipe) but when you can buy the Cattman Y-pipe at an effective price of $320 (when you factor in free shipping and installation kit), there's obviously no contest.

Maxedout2G i feel bad for your car. just wait until you go cheap and your car sounds like and runs like an 88 honda with what is supposed to be exhaust but may as well be a hole in their original pipe!!

Well if I count you, are you in? that would make two.

I'm not really sure why more people are not receptive, I know the price is a little steep, but it's worth it.

Well considering we haven't reached 10 yet, which is the first level needed for a break, it is $375, Cattmans normal price. If we hit 10 it will be $350. Unfortunately to really get a significant break we need 25+ plus, which doesn't look even close. I would be glad to hit the 10 mark, I really want the Cattman pipe, current owners seem to love the new design.
