Hey everyone, how much would it cost for me to replace the clutch on an 88 5speed max? parts and labor? thanks!

A complete clutch job will run you about $350. I had a complete clutch job done on mine back in June. This was when my original tranny failed, so they happen to swap it out with my old one since they have to basically had to pull the tranny off anyway. While they are doing the clutch for you car, have them change the tranny oil while they are at it, and make sure all your linkage and what not are in good working order.
