Guess What: Apexi's Came In Yay

That's right folks, after much patience and waiting the apexi filters came in last night. They shipped out in two boxes and only one came so far and i sent out most of the backorders last night and the rest should go out within the next couple days. Thanks again guys for your patience, i also have extra for all you guys who have been waiting to order.

AND a bonus for all the new orders, last night i also picked up SILICONE BRAIDED COUPLERS and MOLDED SILICONE REDUCERS. BUT.... IF that wasn't enough i went and picked up the the best hose clamps i could find. T-BOLT hose clamps, the 1 inch wide metal rings with the Bolt and Lock Nut setup. These hose clamps GRIP like you wouldn't believe. I took one and clamped down on the "B*** T*****" MAF Adapter and it bent, deformed and collapsed. I then did the same with one of our CNC machined Billet Aluminum MAF adapter and NOTHING happened.

Thanks guys, there's plenty more to come from FCP, the exhaust system should be ready for a spring debut with a nice group deal for you guys. PRELIMINARY PRICING on that will be $475 plus shipping if we get 10 guys. $450 plus shipping if we get 15. And once again it's TOTALLY SS, FULLY Polished, TIG Welds, Mandrel Bends, and a dual Tip Design. It's the best of everything without the higher price tag.

Lordrandall- they are something we will start working on very soon, we just had a lot going on recently but the rumor is they are close to the 4th gen ones, and we have access to one too(a 93SE) and will try and get some for the beginning of the year

1max2nv- for the apexi with the installation kit that include the special aluminum Apexi Adapter, two t-bolt hose clamps and a silicone coupler the price is 110 shipped.

Hey Steve, if you want to get 4th Gen dynos in we'll have to do it sooner than later. I have my VI and the Y pipe coming soon.

What is the difference between the Apexi filter and the K&N filter? Any gain replacing the K&N with the Apexi?

apexi is a dry filter and kn is oiled. Steve got a 4 whp gain over the K&N with the apexi and only gained like .4 whp with no filter at all over the apexi. Price is high as hell though like $100 or so. Matt

Also there is belief that improperly oiling the K&N filter could have an adverse affect on the MAF if the excess oil gets on the sensor. Thats the reason I specifically requested the Apexi equipped intake, the couple extra ponies are just a bonus.
