Pacesetter above 50%

I jsut had the Pacesetter STS installed and it is set at just over 50%. I find it sometimes hard to put into 3rd and into 2nd on a down shift. How can I make them go in without having to double clutch and force them in?

I keep hearing that its not good to put synthetic tranny fluid in, but I know that it will make the shifts go in easier, but will cause my seals to leak. Whats a good non synthetic tranny fluid?

youre probably not gonna get smoother shifts unless u put in synthetic oil. nothing is leaking for me, and a lot of other people have used synthetic without a problem.

double clutching? Are you doing that cuz you missed the gate and already released the clutch? Or do you seriously hafta rev-match everything to precision before the lever slips into it's gate?
The stock shifter in my 93 SE 5sp has such short throws already compared to my 97 GXE 5sp. It's unbelievable that companies make shifters spanning generations (and across platform/models!) Anyways...just ranting. Still working on generation specific (3rd, 4th, and 5th) sts from Kartboy.
