Pacesetter sts
Does anyone know if a pacesetter sts will fit 97+????
They list there part for the 95-96 max. SMC lists for 95-00, and it is my understanding that they are not much different.
I have seen people list that they have the pacesetter with newer maximas....
Just a little confused??? I would rather buy the pacesetter if they are similar, because it is cheaper. AND HAS BEEN A PAIN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF A SMC ANYHOW!!!!
man they make it difficult for us!!!

Same product that they're both STS's, but I'm pretty sure they're different company's. The pacesetter is adjustable too right?

OK let me clean this up
Two Different Companys
Both Short Shifters
Pacesertter and SMC has polyurthane adjustable ball for up too 80% shorter shifter
Absoulutely the same
Just SMC did not come into the scene at the right time and went out of business so Pacesetter filled there spot. Thats all im just kidding about SMC sucking they actually had a very good product just what ever you do stay away from courtesy's short shifter it sucks.
By the way steallen's is the only one thats non adjustable and it sucks just go with the Pacesetter and it fits all 4th gen's

Is this also a joke or are you really being serious?

SMC has gone out of business and is working at NisMo USA.
SMC used Pacesetter's STS as their own product.
The ball is made of Delrin which is a super hard smooth plastic also used in several race cars. I did the full write up in the 5th Gen forum how-to.

so basically you're saying that the pacesetter is just as good as the SMC?
i ask because I'm in the market for an STS and i'll gladly spend $60 for the pacesetter instead of $115 for the SMC. i thought I read some posts awhile back touting the reasons why SMC is better. ah well. money saved = money spent (on other modz)
