Today, I got in my Max and noticed that the fan was not working to clear the windshield and found out that only the highest fan position #4 is working. Anyone else had this problem?

I am assuming that the fan motor needs to be replaced. How difficult is this to do and what does it cost?

 

Well my heat doesnt go to floor whatever i put it to it goes through the top vents but defrost works

 

Nah. The fan motor is fine if the fan works. You just need to change the resistor pack for the fan settings. You'll see it under the glove compartment by the foot area of the passenger's side. It's the piece that a bunch of wires plug into it (looks like a flat credit card thing with one side for the wires to plug into). Just unscrew the 2 screws holding it in and replace the piece.
