PIAA PLASMA vs PIAA PLATINUM

I know everyone has their opinion, but i'm hella confused. Most people on this forum are going for the PIAA Xtreme White, or the PIAA Plasma lights, but i've been told that the PIAA Platinum are white and are closer to the HIDS that the PIAA Plasma light which give off a pinkish look. Which is true and closer? Can someone finally shed some light on this? Thanx.

Have you tried searching on this? There was a thread a while back with kelvin temperatures and how the kelvin # relates to the color of light that is burned off or something.
