2000 SE - Frozen Rear Caliper

Greetings. Was wondering if anyone else had a rear brake caliper freeze on a 5th gen Maxima. My symtpoms were a terrible grinding noise while stopping. Before the grinding noise started, I sometimes heard a clunk from the rear of the car while I released the parking brake and started to move. Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone has similar symptoms. BTW, my car only has 15,000 miles, so I doubt the caliper failure was due to wear and tear.

As a bonus, the car feels faster now that I don't have the rear brake dragging. Another thing to check for is if the brake rotor has turned blue due to the heat generated from a sticking caliper. Take care.
