New Record!! 14.93 @ 92.61 for a NA VE Auto
I went to the Fayetteville Motorsports Park in Fayetteville, NC. Sunny, no wind, high of 60 degrees. Here are my times in order:
I let my car cool down to where I like it and ran a 14.94 @ 92.08mph.
Then, I was so excited and only had about an hour left. Since an hour wasn't enough time to let my car cool down to where I want it (hot today and no wind to cool my motor down), I went ahead and started hot lapping.
To my surprise, I ran a 14.99 @ 91.91mph.
Then I hot lapped and immediately ran a 14.95 @ 92.49mph.
Then I hot lapped again and ran my best of 14.93 @ 92.61mph. And the track was closed, so I couldn't get anymore runs in.
I can't believe that the VE performed so well while warm with a known bad KS.
My mods are:
Custom Ram Air Intake
WSP Ypipe
ASP UDP
Advanced Timing to 20* BTDC
Removed AC Belt
WSP Testpipe
Maximum Tuning Valve Body
Removed seats and gutted trunk
Oh yeah, here is my full timeslip from my best run:
60' 2.3400
330' 6.3698
1/8 9.6696@74.83mph
1000' 12.5091
1/4 14.9374@92.61mph

At the drag strip, everyone was looking at me funny cause I was SO excited. If yall only knew how 'umpossible' I thought this was. And to see my time jump from a 15.23 straight to a 14.93 with just messing with my intake tubing, testpipe, and removed seats.... I couldn't believe it.
I am now a believer in Ram Air and Cold Air intakes!!!
Glad to hear you finally did it man!! It was inevitable(I thought you were going to do it in Kinston). I wish I was there to see it but as you may have heard my car was not insured at the time and I was low on cash. Hope to see you sometime before you move back to Vegas. And BTW everbody that is me he is beating in his sig

My plan is to get these mods done quickly and run at Fayetteville before I move to Vegas at the end of January. So, once I find out the date I am going to the track, I will annouce it in our DC forum.
Once I get to Vegas, my car will be exactly 4 tenths slower.
But I can meet up with the SoCal boys and show them what my automatic can do. I should run only 2 tenths slower in Fontana if it's a decent track that is sticky. So, it MAY be possible that I can maintain my 14's status while out west.
