I've seen this setup before, except with the headlight strobes blinking when the alarm is on, but I want to hook up the strobe inside the car. basically the same thing, I'm just wondering what this procedure includes in general. the unit I'm getting is self contained and I suppose has a power wire and a ground wire(I'm guessing) any suggestions/advice??? I have an aftermarket alarm so will it just be slpicing or what??

My strobe lights use a control switch which has an output for Alarm systems. It is really simple. All I do is attach a power & negative wire from the strobe light control unit to the alarm trip or triggered wires. It's as easy as that. On my max I attached my strobe light wires to the Alarm siren control, so when ever I unlock or lock my doors my strobes will flash twice usually and then when my siren is BLASTING at 120db then my strobe lights flash continueously until the siren becomes silent again.
