Anyone know status of WSP Y-Pipe for 2k2?

I tried contacting Warpspeed about their Y-pipe for the 2k2's but no one has responded yet. Anyone know of the status. Last I know, the pipes were in production.

They are selling them on Ebay for 2K2, so they must be ready...

Well, it looks like it is available, I haven't heard if anyone bought it and if so, what they think of it. A lot of people were so anxious to get it that I thought there would be tons of threads once it got out.

Guess I was wrong.

Anyone got the pipe?

They are ready. I've received several emails from Dallas saying they are in stock.

Just call them and order it through their receptionist. Its too hard to get a hold of Dallas via phone or email.

Okay, so, I guess they are available but people don't seem to be too excited about it. I guess cause maybe it doesn't fit right or something?

Any more input???

This is the reply I got from WSP:

The pipes are $225 for mandrel bent aluminized steel, $275 for mandrel bent 304 stainless. The B pipes are $170 with resonator and $140 without. $25 off B pipe with Y pipe purchase. B pipes available in either 2-1/4" or 2-1/2".

I'm also wondering why everyone isn't jumping on this mod. Everyone says how much of a difference the Y pipe makes so I'm surprised. What were the dyno numbers with the Y pipe and then with the B pipe added? I can't seem to find this answer with the search funtion. I read the long thread a couple days ago, but not all the questions were answered. Where is the B pipe located and is it a bolt on or does it have to be welded? Thanks in advance.

The B pipe is after the main cat and before the muffler. I know Blubyu2k originally got the y and b pipe but their was a fitment problem. He had to return it and get the proper fitting y pipe sent to him. I don't believe he has installed it yet. I haven't heard of anyone actually installing one yet. I was hoping a group deal would get started for this.

I started a thread in the GD section - I'm just looking to see the interest in this product. I did address the fitment issue with Dallas and he was aware of the problem, but it was corrected a while ago.

And yes, blubyu2k has NOT installed it yet. Don't know why.

Once I get time and find a reputable shop I will. I have been trying to get in touch with SR20DEN but he is never around and I was going to pay to use his neighbors lift. I tried to install these once and no dice the fittment was way off. Dallas corrected this the next day by fixing all the pipes by test fitting each one on the car. I'm talkin my car in for service this week and should have a chance next week to get these installed somewhere. Matt
