Fifth gen body kit owners, need some info please.
Fifth gen body kit owners, need some info please.
Some clownshoe barely clipped my bumper, it will need to be replaced. Hopefully his insurance company is one that goes off two estimates as I will surely get them from two of the higher costing bodyshops around and then dump the money into a kit. I have some questions:
I really like the looks of the Stillen Aero kit(Kev's) and the touring kit(Irvine's) which I can buy from Southwestautoworks for $729.00, but this kit looks like I will still need to buy a new front bumper, is that the case? If so what is another kit that looks classy that is a direct bumper replacement? Should I try and find another bumper at a Junkyard?
To any of the Stillen Aero kit and Touring kit owners how happy are you with the kit?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
PS To any of the other org members that have read this and are fimilar with the two kits which do you like better?

yea...im happy w/ the kit....i accually got the kit due to an accident....my 2k2 side sill needed to be replaced...i really likeit...i just wish i had the front AERO lip....
well anyways....there is another BUMPER replacment...thats made of fiberglass....and in my opinion, looks really aggressive...while the aero lip is alot more classy w/ just a touch of aggressivness....
since the serona/ninja kits are made of fiberglass they will crack and chip alot easier than the stillen.....
while the stillen peices are made of urathane.....(lifetime warauntee)

I GIVE THE KIT A THUMBS UP

if your whole bumper needs to be replaced then either OEM or sarona are your choices....but if it doesnt need to be replaced completely, then you can go ahead and do the stillen rear cuz its just an add on, not a complete bumper
I had Stillen Touring and I was happy in the beginning but got sick of it. I have Stillen Big Mouth Fascia (it's a whole bumper replacement) I think for the look Fascia is the best, it really blend nicely with the Stillen side and rear. About the Sarona kit it's nice and all but it makes the car looks drastically different.....if that's the look u want than Sarona is the way to go but if u want the very clean Maxima look with just the body kit on than the Stillen Aero kit, but if ur willing to spend some money than I'd preffer what I have Stillen Fascia if u wanna see more pic click onto my page in my sig.....
