Im trying to make my car look good with after market accesories but im running out of ideas, i have a neon liteglow kit for under the car, and 18 in. wheels. What do u guys have for looks??.....If you have pics pleaze post them.......thnks...

 

Clear corner lenses in the front. You can get a cheap pair on ebay for like $15 or the Diamond cut clear corners from custommaxima.com. Clear corners (NOT ALTEZAS!) for the back also look great, I'm saving cuz they are expensive. Replacing Bulbs also helps looks. Window tint is great, especially in the summer, just look up the laws for your area. Look at different lowering springs, everyone has diffent opinions about what size drop looks the best, I personally think anything more than 2" is too much.

this is where you come up with original ideas...like molding sidemarkers in the fenders, changes to the stance or lighting...knowing tint is a touchy subject depending on the state you drive in and you can't drive around with neons on all the time, you may consider something you can enjoy without infringing on your conscience.

 

stay away from altezzas' i have them and i am desperatly trying to find a pair of stock tail lights so i can get red/clears. i like my billet grille, maybe you should look at those, and the stillen body kit always makes the max looks good in a conservative way.

 

18" rims are a great start. I bet your max already turns some heads with those. Got some pics? Anyway some other cosmetic mods worth buying are:

-front clear corners
-red/clear taillights
-grill (insert or custom)
-bright headlight bulbs(Personally I think HID's are not worth the $, go with PIAA or Xenon)
-brighter bulbs all around(Polarg push-ins, B7 hybrids)
-Stillen body kit(if you wanna go all out with $$ it'll look hot with the 18s)
-tinted windows
-

 

Do these aftermarket bulbs like Piaa or polarg blow often? I purchased a couple of pairs with a blue tint and I luv the way they look but they blew like 4 times.

 

they blew wow thats not normal. Check your fuses cause I've had my Xenon headlights and blue bulbs all around for like months with no problems. I drive a lot at night with them on too.

- clean corners ($20 from ebay)
- superwhite head lite (4000k for $10 from target)
- super white corer light ($7 from monument park)
- 35% tinted (came with the car)
- shaved trunk (DIY)
- custommaxima.org + maxima.org decals ($1 + $5)
- super white gauges ($24.99 from ebay, should be $18 now)
- aluminum bezel ($15 from ebay)
- 3a racin petals ($10 from wal-mart)
- neon rod 15" X 2 under driver + passenger ($15 each, $30 total from target)
- blue lights all around (49 cents each bulbs from monument park)

and finally...

- my altezza tails ($41 from ebay!!!!)



it's all about ebay and its cheapness....
