Tsudo Japan?

I've recently ordered an aftermarket intake from http://www.firmfabrications.com/ . I placed a purchase for the silver, not the micro-polished one. However, my order was delayed and I was KINDLY offered their micro-polished product as a compensation. I was informed that their filter is manufactured by Tsudo Japan.

"It is a considered a dry type element although it is lightly oiled, not saturated" responsed by the company Founder/President. I had done some searches on the internet in regards to Tsudo Japan brand and couldn't find anything that related to air filter. Though, they do made some really nice exhaust products for Honda/Acura cars.

Any inputs in regards to this product/manufacture will be greatly appreciated guys!

I was once sponsored by Tsudo/Cuzo (Ultimate Products) the exhausts work well as far as performance, but an hangers placed on the muffler peel the outer shell off. I am going to switch to a stillen or a blitz CB that I heard fit.

Just reveived my intake from FirmFabrication today and noticed that the filter was manufactured by Vibrant Performance. So, the intake's pipe is manufactured by Tsudo. It all made sense now since Tsudo is known for their exhaust products and no filter.

I've disconnected my battery to reset the ECU and will install the intake hopefully tomorrow.
I also going to experiment by incorporating the Tornado Air Mangement (my father purchased years ago) on the pipe assembly to help smooth out the air turbulance and hopefully gain some more hps?
I doubted though but will see. I'll update the results in a few days. I just hope that my MAF doesn't failed!

If you're serious about the tornado air, i suggest you do a little search. It has been "proven" that the Tornado Air restricts airflow. But those infomercials are pretty convincing...

I did spent quite some times researching about the Tornado Air Management on the internet. So I am pretty up-to-date with my expectation. I am taking a chance here by doing this experiment, not much for horsepower gain, but hope to smooth out the air flow from the aftermarket intake at higher RMP's speed. Abnormal air turbulance is one of the many reasons for the MAF's failure.

Update:

Well, I got the intake installed earlier this morning. After replugging the negative terminal battery back, the intallation was straight forward. One thing I need to modify later is to brace the filter end of the pipe, similar to the Frankencar setup. It's probably not needed but I will do it anyway for peace of mind. I also cleaned the MAF w/a dry Qtip and noticed some dirts accumulated from the resistor. I think I will make this Q-tip cleaning as a regular maintenance from now on.
My experiment w/the Tornado Air management "Crap" did NOT go too well. When turned on the car, that piece of "metal cookie cut" crap obstructed the air way and caused the car to idle irratically. After taken it out, the car was quiet and smooth as stock. I took the car out for the test drive. Boy, the engine came alive, only when provoked. The sound has a "unique" roar at WOT and no whistling sound. I did feel an increase in hp/tq throughout the rpm band. So far, I am happy w/my purchase from the FirmFabrications intake.
Also, one thing that I noticed was that the idle speed has jumped from 650rmp to a constanst 750rmp. It has been like that for the last 8 startups.
