Well I was asked to go with a local car club to rockingham sunday the 12th. Keep in mind right now I am totally stock but I only ran twice because my front potenza's are almost bald after 8500 miles and the track was so slick it wasn't worth running on for me. I have went there 5 times and my worst 60' time ever was my first 1/4 run which was a 2.32. Since then I normally averaged a 2.19-2.20 and sometimes 2.15's. BTD is a 2.13 on potenzas. I am ****ed about my times but fairly pleased with my traps. I ran 2 14.7's blah @ 96.09 and 96.23. My 60's were horrible coming in at a whopping 2.47 and 2.49 I know how to launch my car but that day they must have forgotten to prep the track b/c traction was not there. Pilot sport a/s are on order now

 

Well, I sure hope you do better than that at Fayetteville.

 

Well that was on bald street tires and I have never seen that track in such bad shape. I literally had to take off so easy by the time I could go full throttle it would have shifted to 2nd. I will have the slicks in fayat. and no doubt in my mind 13's just not sure how low of a 13 its going to be. Matt

so how do you launch your autotragic? ive never gone to the track but id love to get those times. im stock too.

 

I couldn't tell you b/c the conditions are always different. I normally stall the car to 1500 and ease on the throttle until I feel the car has traction and go full throttle. Its hard to explain you just have to go experiment and see for yourself works best. Matt

Almost 13's you say out of a totally stock maxima I doubt it. You are a bull**** artist and anyone with half a brain knows it. Find another site. While the trap speed is high for a 14.7 you have to look at the rest of the slip. His 60ft times were horrible. That trap speed is one of a mid 14 second car. I don't see any BS the times or trap speeds. BTW no where in his post was a 13 second stock maxima mentioned

 

If your soo worried about the fact that someone may be BSing you on the forums, you need to find something a little more entertaining to ***** about. You have no standards to base the fact that blu didn't run a 13 stock.

Just to set the record straight I have seen Matt run a 14.3 with just an intake and UDP, and a 13.9 with the addition of slicks. So if you think that 13's are unobtainable from a nearly stock maxima, my friend you are sadly mistaken.

 

well i for one dont want you speaking for me. i was there, i know what happened. why would he lie when he had about 15 org people there. if someone bsed a run while i was there, i would call them out just for fun. oh yeah, just so you know he wasnt completely stock. he had a tranny cooler that i put on a few days before. i put a tranny cooler on too, but maybe i should have gotten the bigger one.
