I was wondering what I should do with the car, sell it by parts or will someone take it off my hands as is? It is on 95k mileage and I cant believe I spent a small fortune on window regulators! arhh.

By the way, is it worth gettin a tranny re-build (I have given up on the maxima bah humbug)

why give up?

you've run into the two most common problems...The regulator( which shouldn't be a fortune to replace) and the transmission. Sorry, but don't give up! it's still a great car, unless of course your just trading in for a newer max...That's ok then. Also, lots of people get rebuilds, or if your short on cash you can try a used tranny from the boneyard.

Are you kidding.........

not to sound blunt, but you're only at 95k, and the tranny prob is almost a given in most of the early Maximas. a rebuild should run you about $1500+/-, plus you'll most likely get a 1-2yr. warranty with it and if you get an in-line cooler and you should be good as long as you treat it right!!! don't sell that car, its not worth it in the long run there are guys at 200k still pushing their Maxes. one rebuild should be all you need!!
