timing chain or belt on 91 max?
I just called the local dealer to get a quote on changing the timing belt and I was told that it may have a chain. I don't own the car but I am looking to buy it and needed this quote for haggling purposes in the event that the owner hadn't had this service performed. The service guy said that if the valve cover seals are red it has a belt, other wise it has a chain. Can anyone vouch for that? It is a 91 maxima GXE (auto).
