ST Springs For a 4th Gen??

Does Suspension Techniques even make springs for the 4th gen? I was looking into buying some from another member to replace my coilovers. The guy says he has them on his car and emailed me pics too. I thought they were only made for 3rd gens.

Also one coil is cut from the springs. Would you advise against buying these?

It is not that I don't trust the guy I am just trying to gather some info.
Thanks a lot!!

I'd advise against buying these if ride quality is a big issue to you. I had ST springs on my 4th gen about 2 years ago. The drop is about 1.4" F and 1.3" rear and the ride is fairly stiff. With cut springs, the ride will be significantly rougher. I suggest spending the money on quality springs like H&Rs where you'll get a lower drop (~1.7" F, 1.6" R) and a very nice ride. I've learned this over the past 4 years of owning my Maxima, BUY QUALITY PARTS THE FIRST TIME.

Thanks a lot Dave. I learned this with my coilovers. Good thing I learned my lesson because the max gets only the best now.

I don't really know about the H&R's because I think I will be dissapointed with the drop because I have a body kit and 17" AE wheels. Plus I want something that lowers the car fairly even while getting rid of the horrible wheel gap. Any suggestions other that coilovers?
Thanks!!

Take a look at my homepage and see if you think H&Rs aren't low enough. Keep in mind that the lower your car is, the harsher the ride (unless you've got shortened struts). There's just no way around it.

Dave
Your homepage does not work. Is there a way you can post pics?
Thanks Dave.
