Wheel noise from back left

I was drivin in the snow the other day and i have crappy tires and i was slidin around a corner and my back left wheel smacked a curb and ever since there has been a grinding/whining noise coming from my back left wheel. I checked and theres nothing for the tire to rub against(at least when its sitting) but when i hit 35 mph and up it sounds like i have a muddin tire back there. could this be a berring or is the tire rubbing something? It is also has a bit of a loose rear end. any help would be much appreciated

Couple possiblilities. You knock the wheel out of balance, you screwed up the wheel hub, or your bearings are bad. I take it in and have it looked at when you get the chance.

I agree...however, if you hit hard enough to damage the bearings and/or hub, I'd look at replacing the main rear strus assembly with a good one from a wrecking yard - the shaft itself could be bent...

I took it into the shop and my alingment was off a little so they fixed that and they took a big chunk of snow out of my wheel well and the noise stopped for about a day. The mechanic said that the camber was off an 8th of a degree on that wheel also. But the noise is back now im gonna replace the bearings and see if that stops it.
