Can you put a 97-99 white gauge setup on a 1996???

Hi everyone, I like the digital tripometer and orange needles of the 97-99 gauges and was wondering if it was possible to swap my black gauges with these ones??? thanks for any help or advice you can give...

If you have a 96, then you will need a gauge cluster out of a 95-97 Maxima. The 98-99 clusters will not work. If you connect it up, you will smell and see smoke.

Yep 97 SE thats what I got in my 96. Since you said you wanted orange needles I suggest you get this one. Pics on my homepage maybe if I can remember.
