urgent, problem with my transmission

Hi there, first sorry about my english im from brasil ok? well i will explain this clearly. I drive my car on D(automatic maxima) i have to keep the foot on the peda...if i remove it, the rpms goes like the car is in neutral(N) no matter the speed. IF i shift to 2 gear...the rpms goes like neutral too. And the engine is not braking...the engine wait 5-7 seconds to start to brake...i mean, the gear wait 7 seconds to enter.

i can drive on 2 gear...and the rpms can be on 4000 rpms..but if i remove my foot the rpms goes on 1000...like i shift to neutral. i have to keep the foot on the pedal to keep the car on rpms...

Anoter thing is the car make the shift very hard...it pull me back on the shifting.

Ummmm....

Check the fluid level. Check the condition of the fluid. Does it smell burnt or have pieces of stuff in it?
