My first dumb moment...
Last night, I changed the oil in the car. Removed the screws for the deflector panel, and the oil pan and placed them in a tray so I wouldn't loose them. So as the oil is draining, I go to add some brake fluid, and what do I do but step on the edge of the tray, and BOING, Screws go flying up in the air ALL OVER THE GARAGE. Now keep in mind I have a gravel floor in there (hard to find a small screw on gravel), and theres lots of stuff in there. Took 2 hours to find the damn oil pan screw so I could finish the job.

Second dumb moment...
We've got about 2-3 inches of snow here now...I took a bend about a block away from my house just a bit too fast (obviously) because I ended up sliding into a "ditch" (deep rut)...(Left two wheels on the street, right two wheels in the ditch, car leaning at a 45 degree angle) And it was too steep to pull out of it. Came literally 2 inches away from hitting the guardrail. No body damage thank god. Waited 2 hours for the tow truck to winch me out...and now my alignment is screwed because I've got to turn the wheel about an an 8th of the way to the right to drive straight. My only concession was that the guy who's "yard" I ended up in said that I was the 3rd car today to do that.

I think I'm going to park the car and not drive for a week.
This new year sucks so far...

 

Hey man atleast everything is good and ok. You found the screws didn't you? and your car still looks good right? And you and your car are not dead or something. So smile.

That sucks....You are in MD right? I saw a Jeep Cherokee hit a tree in someones yard in our neighborhood today because of the snow. The guys front was all torn up. All that from only 3 inches of snow.
