I just danced with and disrespected this car! The Ultimate in Maxima Kills

First, let me say this is not by any means suggesting the maxima is faster or can kill this car. This is what happenned. Driving to work today in NYC coming from W'chester, hopped on the W Side Hwy and decided to gun it. Barreling down @85 on a 40 I noticed and decided to slow down a bit to admire this nicely dropped E55 AMG and looked to see who was driving it. We made eye contacts but I kept going. The driver must have read me wrong coz before I knew it I saw barreling him down on me at close what I think was 90 and up (I was already doing 85) so he passed me got back on the middle lane and slowed down. That was it. I crept on him @90 and then GUNNED IT ALL THE WAY...he came after me and with traffic I was in and out of lane and he never caught up to me all the way to my exit (at least 5 miles to 57th st). Guys, I have to tell you the rush of running an AMG and saw my speed topping 120+ and be jumping in and out of lanes...i am telling you that the AMG chased me hard but couldnt outmaneuver me.
Well, dont think I'd want to do it again. It was dangerous as there was decent traffic but with room to pass. Man, I dont even know how else to describe it. I wouldnt even look at one of those from 0 though but I wanted to show this guy I can run too and guess what: Shoot! I won! This makes kill #2 since I dont count hondas and that Kia Spectra I sent back to auto school yesterday.
Sorry for the long post! I am filled with adrenaline...

We saw each other again since the highway comes to an end. We waited and no sooner did the light, I think he was 3 blocks away by the time I look. But I was turning anyway, just forgot the turn on the blinkers!

Good kill. I remember when I was a kid these maniacs used to drive like 140 on the West Side Highway weaving in an out of traffic. I got into a few races on there, but these guys were just to crazy for me! Oh, I had a Chevy Spectrum at the time so that didn't help either.

Spectrum? Didnt those cars go from 0-60 in like an hour? I held on my wheel for dear life. Some people who felt my wind saw me at the light. I am glad my windows are tinted.

Sorry to bust bubble but he was playing

with your mind: the E55 AMG is 5.5 liters (hence the '55' designation, has 349 hp and nearly 400 lbs of torque. With its five-speed automatic it runs 0-60 in 5.1 seconds and the quarter at 13.8 at 105 mph, at worst nearly 6 tenths faster than a very quick manual 3.5 liter Max on a 0-60 run and half a second in the quarter.
Indeed, it's barely a tenth of a second slower than the M5 both 0-60 and the quarter-mile so...he was just cruising fast & messing up your mind

Well, that may or may not be true. No way to ever tell. However a kill is a kill especially w/an AMG badge!

A kill is a kill when both cars hammer down

completely, not when one is cruising and the other is hammer down.

With your logic, I killed a Z06 Vette Sunday: I was in the fast lane and he was in the slow lane 'cause he was turning right in a half-mile...I passed him, hence killed him?

thank you... this is the most intelligent post in this thread.

Using this logic I killed a mustang cobra not too long ago. I pulled up next to him on a 2-lane road and he got behind a truck so I slowed down next to the truck and he couldn't pass, then I maneuvered so he got stuck at the red light. I flashed the hazards... KILL!

This is quite a funny thread. A E55 would put buslengths on our cars...The driver probably never even pushed his foot down far enough to get the car into passing gear.

the other day i "killed" a viper GTS. I put multiple carlengths on his *** and watched him and the flatbed that was towing him disappear in my rearview mirror.
