4th Gen Turbo Kit for less than $3,000
4th Gen Turbo Kit for less than $3,000
This is to check out interest in this. Maxx Tuning is starting to develope our own products and I'm just gauging interest here. Our full Turbo Kits will be less than $3,000 working with a Garrett T04e Turbo and Intercooled. This is still only a thought. Who's interested???

You can't patent a turbo kit.
We live in a free market system here, if you can't patent your design, then someone else can copy it. If they can do it cheaper, you better have good service to counter with--if not.........

hey i am not hating.. you do what you got to do to make a living.. but its still shady.. and did i expect you to say.. yeah i bought a kit and i am duplicating it.. nah.. only person online with big ***** like me to say something like that is bill99gxe.. and he doesn't sell turbo kits
one thing will be for sure.. if you didn't copy the kit.. it better not look anything like the other kit.. because then you would be a liar

copying or not...
that's how it works these days.
Konig, ADR, Racing Hart Evo and many other wheel brands all copy identical designs from others... yet they still sell lots of wheels. Strut bars are identical for the most part, a hole or a extra twist somewhere and a sticker and it'a a different strut bar. Stillen Type II wing being duplicatd.. it's not being made by the original manufacturer but it's still someone elses design.. y - pipes, CAIs, dash kits, blah blah blah..
it's all the same.. everything is taken from someone else. otherwise a market for most items would be a monopoly.. As a consumer, you can say some price competition is good
yet for the creator or inventor.. it is obviously a b!tch.

for strut bar...the places are resellers. u think some store in the corner is making a strut bar? welding the plates and cutting the pieces? nope..they take a generic bar...slap a sticker on it and say it's sold from them. i HIGHLY doubt they said that they MADE the piece from scratch. most of the time some far east company makes a "lot" of bars..hits the US soil..get to distributors and they do what they want.
well u get the point.

building a kit off of another kit and remaking the same/identical kit are 2 different animals. WSP CAI is similar to the PR but Dan and Dallas did all the engineering and testing and production themselves. ive copied CAI setups in the past off of the PR setup. It's easy but you don't see me badging a CAI and calling it my own...

right..keep in mind konig, ADR, RH, etc etc..they copy designs but they MAKE the rims. they don't take a RH rim and rebadge it and turn it into a konig rim.

but just to make it clear,
I am not trying to justify anything here.. just clarify what's being done..

Although others probably know something I don't.. Sprint mentioned he got a hold of the other kit?
I'm just looking at it from the outside, this just doesn't seem to differ much from how other companies often go about in aquiring new products, as shady as it may often be..
i still say we wait before jumping to conclusions..
